Disciples of Penang
The First
Disciple Team started
in Penang in 1999.
In the year 2000-2001, the following english speaking and mandarin speaking teams were
formed as follows:
Exodus
- Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Butterworth
Corinthians
- Church of the Holy Spirit, Penang
Genesis
- Church of the Holy Spirit, Penang
Hosea
- Risen Christ Church, Penang
Esther
- Risen Christ Church, Penang
Core Team 2000-2001
- Penang, Butterworth.
Since then, other teams
have been formed, in Kulim, Penang, Taiping, Ipoh.
The English speaking teams for year 2001-2002
were from Butterworth, Kulim, and Taiping.
The
Core Team 2001-2002 was from Butterworth and Kulim
In year 2002-2003 the English-speaking teams
were from Penang, Butterworth, Kulim, and Sungai Petani
The year 2003-2004 English-speaking teams were
from Penang, Butterworth, Kulim and Sungai Petani.
The year 2004-2005 English-speaking teams were
from Penang, Butterworth, and Kulim.
The year 2005-2006 English-speaking teams were
from Penang, Butterworth and Alor Star.
The year 2006-2007 English-speaking teams were from Penang, Butterworth, Sungai Petani and Alor Star.
There was no group in year 2007.
In year 2008, one group was started back in
Penang.
